Hi, I’m Dr. Romisher! I’m a board-certified dermatologist, and I love helping people feel good in their skin. I see patients of all ages for everything from medical and pediatric dermatology to cosmetic and procedural treatments. You can find me at The Dermatology Specialists in Fishtown, Philadelphia, and soon at Accent Dermatology in Medford, New Jersey.
My approach is simple: I treat every patient the way I’d want my own family to be treated. Everyone’s skin is different, so your plan should be too. And I want you to leave every visit really understanding your skin (that’s why I write the handouts on this site!).
I grew up in South Jersey and studied Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University, with a minor in Art History. Yes, art history! It still shapes my eye for detail and aesthetics every day.
From there, I earned my medical degree at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, did my internal medicine internship at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and completed my dermatology residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where I was Chief Resident. I’ve always loved medical education, and during residency I joined the advisory council for Derm In Review, where I write educational content for dermatology residents. I still serve on the advisory council today because I love helping teach the next generation of dermatologists!
When I’m not seeing patients? You’ll find me with friends and family, on the tennis court, out on a long walk, or planning my next getaway.
Light reading on some of the most common skin conditions and procedures I see in the office, to help you understand your skin a little better. This isn’t everything I treat, just the topics patients ask me about most!
